ABOUT ME

I am a C-IAYT Yoga Therapist. I am also a E-RYT500 and YACEP certified Yoga Instructor through Yoga Alliance. With 10 years of teaching experience, I teach many different yoga styles and modalities as well as Barre. I have been an avid and sometimes competitive runner for over 30 years. Yoga has helped to maintain my ability to run long distance for over half my life.

My classes are influenced by my Yoga Therapy certification, my years of running, and my fascination with anatomy. I love to incorporate props and mobility/strengthening work into my classes. I hope that you enjoy my on demand library and I look forward to seeing you in my livestream classes.

Testimonials

"I've been doing Yoga with Andrea since 2018. I love her flows, her energy, and she is really great at talking the class through(explaining) poses. I've learned a lot from her over the years and always look forward to my next class with her. "

-Joanna, YOGA PRACTITIONER

"Andrea is an amazing yoga instructor who is intuitive to the needs of her students. She designs classes that are fun, safe, and innovative. I love how she bridges traditional yoga movements with body strengthening that expand the benefits of yoga for your everyday activities. Most of all, Andrea is a natural in teaching classes, either in person or on-line, by her clear, simple cues that allow you to be immersed in the practice. "

-Lori, YOGA PRACTITIONER

"Margie & I have been attending classes with Andrea Snyder for about 6 years now. Andrea is an awesome yoga instructor. Unlike so many instructors who count on you looking at your neighbor to see if you are doing the pose correctly, her vocal queuing is spot on! This is key to being able to do a virtual class, where looking at the computer screen may be difficult during certain poses. If you have thought about trying Yoga, this is the way to do it. In the privacy of you own home or office, no peer pressure and best of all, no commute! Give it a try!"

What Is Yoga?
Who is Yoga For?

"Yoga does not transform the way we see things. It transforms the person who sees.” B.K.S. Iyengar

Yoga is the sanskrit word for “union”. The union of the mind, body, and soul. Yoga uses movement (asana), breathing techniques (pranayama), and meditation to center and focus the mind for better mental and physical health.

Yoga can be both a physical and spiritual practice. Each individual receives what they “need” from their own regular practice.

Yoga can be for everyone. Every body, every fitness ability, every age.
